Super happy as this year Superhilbo is attending the 2D Festival as a lovely Guest!  It's on the June Bank Holiday this year, so only a short while away.

Superhilbo is down with maths and is very happy to have helped out Skruff in making his new blog more friendly.

A small little comic was designed for Skruff as he wasn't having the best of days trying to run for the stick being thrown for him.  Luckily enough, he has plenty of clout and used it to figure out a new way of doing things.

IRISH COMIC NEWS BIRTHDAY WEEK!

So ICN is now a year old...isn't that brilliant?  A whole year of giving the public a wonderful array of Irish talent and keeping us all up to date on what is happening around the place in a comic context.  There really is a ton of talent out there in the country, and having this website as the 'go to' venue to find out all about it is truly fantastic.
Hats off to Tommie Kelly for taking the plunge and starting it up.  I'm delighted to be involved with it and have the pleasure of not only working with Tommie, but also David O'Leary and Patrick Brown.  For this week, the ICN celebrations are including an Irish Comics Appreciation Week!  Time for you to explore comics, pass them on to others and share the love and appreciation for the creators of the comics.

SUPERHILBO ISSUE 1 - FREE PDF

Superhilbo Issue 1 is now available here for free PDF download!  You can download it via the  link HERE - http://www.scribd.com/doc/97113522
and it'll be available in the side bar of the page as other posts go up.  A small pdf for the comic cons was produced but won't be available for pdf as it was only for comic cons.  Issue 2 updates will follow but as that has been a slow process it's best not to harp on about that!  When it's up online, it's up. :)
I'd like to think aul Superhilbo has been drawn a lot better since the enthusiastically put together first issue.  The aim will be to give her a better outing when the next batch of stories get scribbled down and formatted properly.  Until then, enjoy my first free comic. :)  I had a lot of fun creating it, so I hope you have fun reading it.

Still figuring out how to post it up and am finding files on different memory sticks...note to self 'get organized!!'. Won't have any copies in Derry unfortunately but will have a small zine available, outlining some projects completed in the last while. :)
